West Eight Nightclub is committed to making our website and venue welcoming and accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.

The website

Our goal is for this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. It includes keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators, a skip link, labeled form fields with errors tied to the field, descriptive alternative text, a pause button on the homepage video (which starts paused if your device asks for reduced motion), and focus management in the menu and photo viewer. The site was redesigned on September 18, 2026 and re-tested with automated checks (axe-core) on every page at desktop and phone sizes.

Known limitations

• The printable bottle menu is a PDF. The same content is available as an accessible page at west8downtown.com/menu.
• Online table booking and ticketing run on our partners' sites (Booketing and Eventbrite), which we do not control. You can always book a table or get on the guest list by text or phone at (323) 500-6252.
• Event flyers are supplied by promoters as images. Each event's name, date and details are also given in text.

If you find anything that does not work for you, we want to know.

Testing

We test with automated checks, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers (VoiceOver with Safari), and we update this page when the site changes.

The venue

We welcome guests with disabilities. If you have specific access needs for your visit or a reservation, contact us in advance and we will work with you on accommodations, including information in alternate formats.
